Munich, Germany: German online men’s shoe-retailer Shoepassion.com recently opened its second brick-and-mortar store in the city of Munich. Although their first store was opened in Berlin’s trendy Mitte neighbourhood, the new shop is located in Munich’s old and posh city center, which better fits the Brand’s classic character.
Shoepasssion.com offers high-quality shoes for low prizes. Shoepassion’s Tobias Börner explained that the stores offer them the option to build up a higher quality customer relationship than would be attained with a webshop only .
The function of the Munich shop that operates on 100 square meters is to make the shoepassion.com experience ‘ more tangible’ and to offer qualified advice to interested customers. The first thing you notice when entering the store is the soft scent of leather, evoking old times and memories of the best moments in life. Apart from that, accessories are sold in the store.
Online shoe shops opening brick and morter stores is not a new phenomenon: Berlin based Italian shoe webshop Scarosso earlier opened 6 branches all over Germany.
